Egypt is one of the world’s leading producers and exporters of artichoke, and frozen artichoke hearts represent one of the country’s most premium agricultural export products. Egyptian artichoke is grown primarily in the Nile Delta’s Alexandria and Beheira governorates, where the mild Mediterranean climate produces large, meaty artichoke hearts with the delicate flavor and creamy texture that premium buyers demand.

Quality Assurance

Egyptian artichoke hearts are hand-trimmed by skilled labor to remove all outer leaves and choke material, delivering a clean, ready-to-use product. Each heart is treated with natural antioxidants (citric acid solution) immediately after trimming to prevent oxidative browning before IQF freezing.
